|Description:||The Sales Leaders primary duties include but are not limited to:|
Sales leader will be charged with the discovery and cultivation of an engaged and productive set of third party relationships (Distributor, re-seller, etc.) and also will manage and grow a dynamic in-house selling staff. This person will become intimate with the product line and value proposition, review the viability of current partner relationships, identify new partners, and negotiate/close and ramp only the most attractive. This leader will serve as one of company's most outspoken and passionate evangelists, capable of fluently delivering the company’s value proposition and creating value through 3rd party relationships.
Ultimately, the success of this role will be measured through the expansion of the sales pipeline and more importantly through generation of recurring profitable revenue in both Direct and Wholesale channels.
•Evaluate and maximize performance of existing channel partners and internal sales staff. Identify opportunities to enhance performance across high-potential relationships and eliminate non-productive relationships. Ability to recruit, train, coach and motivate internal sales force.
•Identify, recruit, negotiate, train and launch novel channel partners through collaboration across Sales, Marketing and Product teams.
•Set and achieve specific and measurable Direct and Wholesale revenue and profitability targets.
•Collaborate with Marketing team to develop awareness and education materials related to channel relationships (e.g. collateral, training, pitch presentations).
•Coordinate cross-functional internal and external stakeholders to ensure successful go-to- market activities for new partners.
•Represent the company as spokesperson/evangelist at partner- industry events as well during customer meetings.

•10+ years of B2B experience in successful management of an internal sales staff and development of channel partners.
•Able to speak to demonstrable success setting targets, launching partnerships and achieving goals in a start-up B2B environment.
•Experienced in managing a CRM system, preferably Microsoft Dynamics, to monitor call activity, leads and quote generation and resulting sale orders.
•At least one prior role in a start-up environment (highly preferred but not required).
•Previous experience in developing channel partners within the B2B health and fitness space would be ideal.
•Bachelor’s Degree from a four-year university or equivalent experience is required (MBA a plus)
