We have been in business over twenty years, developing and managing student housing. We are seeking an Assistant Property Manager for our property located in your area. The Assistant Property Manager shall operate on a full time basis and shall be physically located at the site. The purpose of this position is to overlap the work of the Property Manager and provide critical oversight coverage Monday through Friday. The Assistant Property Manager shall also serve as backup to the Property Manager who has complete authority to act for the company concerning planning, scheduling, budgeting, and personnel. The Assistant Property Manager shall assume all responsibilities in the absence of the Property Manager. The Assistant Property Manager shall assist the Property Manager on all duties as listed above.
|Duties:||The Assistant Property Manager shall possess the following minimum qualifications:|
-Experience working in a comparable apartment complex building
-Have a minimum of three consecutive years of experience in directing work similar in scope to that which includes: facilities management, operation, and maintenance, and custodial for a single building of comparable size, type and complexity;
-Ability to provide oversight of security contracts and staff in a facility comparable to the size and complexity of the building.
-Ability to plan, organize and meet project deadlines
-Ability to work on several projects simultaneously and prioritize work, as required
-Demonstrate working knowledge of business systems required to run the complex
-Must be available for emergency contact via cell phone 24 hours/7 days a week
-Must be available to work flexible hours as required to respond emergency situations.
-Ability to provide appropriate and error-free written correspondence (e.g. progress and status reports, notifications, memorandum, executive summaries, etc.) in a timely manner
-Ability to effectively communicate orally to all levels of audiences to conduct debriefings, make public announcements, facilitate meetings, etc.
-Experience in managing and coordinating emergencies with multiple tenants, law enforcement, and other officials, agencies, and organizations
-Ability to effectively communicate via a public address system to tenant occupants during emergencies affecting the building or its surrounding area.
-Experience in managing a data center including Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS), Power Distribution Units (PDUs), and emergency generators.
-Must have experience working in a building of comparable size
-Must have at least an Associate’s Degree or any other post-secondary degree
-Must have a minimum of three consecutive years of experience in a similar size complex
-Familiar with facilities management, operation, and maintenance, and custodial for a single building of comparable size, type and complexity
-Proficiency with word processing, spreadsheet and project tracking tools
